Hi my name is Delbert Davis. I'm an Army medic stationed at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. I'm from Pinole and I'm streaming your show right now. I just wanted to check in and let you know that I'm giving the show a listen and I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing. Unfortunately there are no stations similar to yours out here. I'm relatively new to the smooth jazz scene. I'm a life long K*** listener, but I can't stand them anymore. Thanks for helping me pass my evening. We're 3 hours behind you out here. (It is currently 6:25 Hawaii time on Wednesday evening) Have a good evening and keep up the good work.

He’s Now Accepting Applications For His Youth Orchestra <> | | <> Applications are currently being accepted for 2009 admission to the Asia American Youth Orchestra directed and conducted by pianist David Benoit. The 2009 orchestra is open to intermediate and advanced level students of all ethnic backgrounds up to age 18. Not only will students learn, work, and perform under conductor Benoit, but they will have the opportunity to work with other professional Hollywood studio musicians and compete for various scholarships. The orchestra, based in Rolling Hills Estates, California, near Los Angeles, will hold auditions September 13th and 14th, and once again on September 20th and 21st. Meanwhile, Benoit’s latest Smooth Jazz album is called “Heroes” and features the hit single “Human Nature.” David continues his summer tour September 4th in Oakland, at the Claremont Resort and Spa with KKSF.
